The Exhibition, Yiwarra Kuju: The Canning Stock Route is an important outcome of the CSR Project. This Exhibition breaks new ground as it brings Aboriginal voices and experiences to the fore and explores a significant but little known period of Australian history through contemporary art, film and new media. The breadth of the exhibition material includes stunning works by over 80 artists from nine community art centres, a film program, 'One Road' interactive multimedia installation, public workshops and a national K-12 education program.
The exhibition runs from July 30, 2010 to January 26, 2011 at the National Museum of Australia. It will subsequently tour to selected national and international venues.
FORM would like to acknowledge the collaborative innovation and vision of [exhibition design] Freeman Ryan Design and Lightwell ['One Road' multimedia interactive design].
