Growing Communities WA is delighted to be hosting WA community garden sector’s premier event for 2009 - the WA COMMUNITY GARDENS FORUM!
Join them for this three day community garden extravaganza:
- Friday, 18th Sept – Opening Sundowner at City Farm
- Saturday, 19th Sept – Skill-Sharing Day at Piney Lakes Environment Centre
- Sunday, 20th Sept – Bus Tour of Community Gardens starting from FERN
The program includes a video-link with Rob Hopkins - co-founder of the Transition Network, a British organisation set-up to empower communities to address the issues of peak oil and climate change.
