DAMnº is a highly respected international magazine on contemporary culture, with a broad international focus on the worlds of design, architecture and art. The article, by Scoop writer Nathan Scolaro, traces the project from its genesis in 2006, through the six-week 1800km bush-studio trip, to the final acquisition and exhibition of 113 works at the National Museum of Australia.
Free Range Inc - call for proposals
Free Range Inc. welcomes proposals from practicing artists and curators working in any medium for solo or group shows, performances, and projects. They aim to support emerging and established artists working across a broad range of critical practices. Their program aims to include a diversity of art practices, and work that is experimental and innovative.
Applications are assessed by the free range committee monthly. When assessing applications free range looks for proposals that are well-considered, critically engaged, and ambitious.
Applicants will be informed of outcome via email as soon as possible (usually within 4 weeks of submission).
