Pattern Recognition
Helen Britton, Blue (detail)

Centred on the notion of patterns that repeat and we learn to recognise instantly, Pattern Recognition is a multimedia exhibition featuring the work of nine Australasian artists, including internationally renowned, WA jeweller Helen Britton.

Cyber-punk novelist William Gibson used the term ‘pattern recognition’ as the title and concept for his fast-paced story about his ‘cool hunter’ heroine and her world of logos, trademarks and branding.

Pattern Recognition was at FORM Gallery from June 26 - August 12 2008..
