Signs of Change: Jewellery Designed to Make a Better World
Signs of Change is an international exhibition featuring 18 projects by over 20 jewellers from Australia, Japan, Germany, Sweden, England and New Zealand. A collaboration between FORM and eminent curator Kevin Murray, the exhibition has been in development for almost two years.
Signs of Change charts the different levels from which jewellery - and design more broadly - can instigate change and promote positive benefits for the wearer and community at large. As such it taps into trends and dialogue around design and sustainability, social enterprise, environment and health.
Signs of Change is part of the official program of the Biennial Conference of the Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group of Australia, taking place in Perth this April.
The exhibition will be open in the FORM Gallery from April 9th to May 30th 2010.
