Professor John Worthington is founder of international planning and architecture firm DEGW, and is a renowned academic with professorial chairs at various international universities. His areas of expertise relate to the ‘21st century city’, and the emerging workplace – particularly with regard to education and health establishments, which are above all, places of work for large volumes of professionals.

Worthington was a generous and highly effective Expert Speaker for Creative Capital. He carried out a series of private engagements during his stay, including a meeting with Geoffrey London, dinner with Alannah MacTiernan and her Chief of Staff, and consultation with the Fiona Stanley Hospital Project Team. FORM also connected Worthington with the City of Perth which hosted a workshop ‘Gown to Town’ targeted at representatives from all of the tertiary institutions in Perth; and with HASSELL which hosted a free public lecture for architecture professionals. At both of these events Worthington was a sensitive and responsive Expert Speaker who is well respected by his peers.
