FORM is working with the 140 art team to bring two of Australia’s favourite street artists, Beastman (Sydney) and Vans the Omega (Adelaide) back to the West coast to paint a collaborative mural at 140. The artwork will commence Wednesday 23rd July, with an expected completion date of Friday 25th July.
The PUBLIC: Art in the City 2014 program commenced in April and saw 45 artists from around the globe descend on the Perth CBD and Northbridge to transform over 30 walls and spaces with world-class art.
As part of this program, Beastman and Vans the Omega completed an impressive piece in the Murray Street open-air car park. The new mural at 140 will be the pair’s second collaborative contribution to PUBLIC: Art in the City.
140 already boasts a living gallery of eclectic and bespoke works from artists including Kyle Hughes-Odgers, Matt W. Moore, Nike Savas and Alister Yiap.
The addition of Beastman and Vans the Omega’s giant wall mural will further add to the development’s vision of creating an explorative arts space within the property’s physical spaces.
