The Courthouse Gallery offers a range of educational learning experiences for high school and primary school students, private learning groups, and toddler aged children.

School Visits

Primary and high school classes are invited to attend the Gallery and learn about the current exhibitions. The staff at the Gallery will introduce the exhibitions, and provide an age appropriate worksheet for students to use as they engage with the exhibitions. Depending on the class size and age, the Gallery team will also be able to facilitate an art activity. The school excursion can be tailored to fit in with your timeframes, but usually go for an hour. Teachers are required to attend and supervise the children. To book your school, please register here.

Private learning groups

If you host school-aged children at an after school facility or learning group, you are invited to learn about the current exhibitions. The format is the same as the school visits. Register your interest here.

Kids Art Club

If you are a little person between 2.5 and 5 years old who wants to explore colours, shapes and creativity, bring along a parent so you can both discover the wonders of art and learning. The classes are held every Wednesday, 10am – 11am, and are $10 per child (includes all materials and instruction). To book your place, email mail@courthousegallery.com.au or call (03) 9173 1064.
